You can also do this:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10\Excel.exe". This is where it
is on my XP system. The important point is that if you double quote the
entire name, you can put in the real path name. I do this all the time
with RUNRMTCMD, which is what I use instead of STRPCCMD.
