In this case I didn't see that at all.  Here's a cut from
the log I'm making:

MAIL FROM: brad@xxxxxxxxx
250 xxxxx.com we trust you xxxxx.com
250 brad@xxxxxxxxx sender accepted

Lou is correct. To quote Joe Pluta in this thread: "Unfortunately, that's just a poorly designed server app, Brad."

If they followed the RFC, the first line would be "250-" instead of just "250 "

I'd be surprised if other MTAs didn't have trouble communicating with that server as well.

I'd personally telnet to the server on port 25 and verify the results. If they match, I'd contact the server vendor.
