There have been many utilities been written to convert O-specs to external DDS. 
the first one I can recall is an old one, written by the late Ernie malaga for 
Midrange Computing in 1993, do not the month (thought January of February). 
Perhaps the code can be obtained from www.mcpressonline.com. Otherwise I can 
look it up somewhere; I should have the code on CD-ROM.

Or look at the shareware/freeware links at www.iseriesnetwork.com.
