These don't seem to me to be directly related. Stuff about the database is readily available for free download. Check out the www.redbooks.ibm.com site, look for iSeries in the search. Also look specifically for "object relational" there - that covers all kind sof trigger stuff, as I recall. Or there is another book like it that does. Could also search on iSeres, Java, database and see what you get.

I just ran a google on the title of the book by Coulthard & Farr, Java for RPG Programmers. I found a first edition - it's in its 2nd edition now - reason I wanted it was, I have the workbook for that edition.

For Java, there's a lot at InfoCenter. Java is really a lot the same everywhere, so anything you read about it in general will apply, I think.

You might look at the JAVA-L list here - probably will get better, more pertinent , advice.

Hi - Perhaps you have outgrown a book that would be for an AS/400 RPG programmer to start to aqcuire skills and knowledge using Java & As/400. I guess anything related like triggers, DB2, etc...

I am looking to pay around $10 plus shipping. Payment by paypal, money order, etc...

Please reply off list.

Thank you,

Mike
