Re: v5r3 and Model 150

My understanding is that it will not work.  My presumption is that when you
do the install, there is some code path that says "What model am I, and if
I'm not a supported model, go away."

I was pondering installing v5r3 on my little 150 just for giggles (and
practice).  I was going to install a spare disk as drive zero and pretend
I'm doing a full scratch install.  Reading the install docs, it says the
model 150 is "unsupported".

Unsupported I don't care about.  This is just for practice.  When I'm done
playing, I'll reconnect the current set of drives and be back to v4 where I
started.

CAN v5r3 be installed on a 150 or will the install process not even work?
Has anyone tried it?
