The thing is that we are using Java for this, in case of modifications, I would 
need to use Java. That is why I want to discuss this using Java. It could be 
that after all is said and done we can switch to your procedure. Now I heard 
Belgian beer is best in the world, so which one will it be?

Nope, simply copy the spooled file into a PF, modify that in case of *HTML
or *PDF, and copy the PF into an IFS stream file.

No need for Java, it's too slow - on our machine anyway.
