The last time we bought drives (for our 170 which, after a crash, we
upgraded to full mirroring), we bought 'em on eBay. And the last time I
changed out drives on our 40S (not rocket science, either), I just pulled
drives out of the same "parts donor" box we use when we need to fix our
520, and (after a whole long thread on this very list about whether or not
they're compatible) remounted them.

Speaking of which, since that "donor box" gives us spare drives to burn,
every machine we have that's ever lost a drive is on full mirroring.
Unfortunately, those drives are too small in capacity, and too large in
bulk, to use on our 170.
