I don't have a blackberry so forgive my ignorance. 

You can use any telnet client with the AS/400 , as long as it supports
VT100, which most do. I have to imagine that the blackberry has such a
client.

It won't be pretty but it will work.

        I don't think MochaSoft has a Blackberry version of TN5250.  From
their FAQ at
        http://www.mochasoft.dk/faq.htm :

          "Question: Can any Mochasoft terminal emulator run on a Blackberry

        Mochasoft does not sell any products for the Blackberry platform. On
most
        networks (not the Nextel 6510/7510) it is not possible to make
direct TCP
        sessions between a Blackberry device and an AS/400, and such an

        therefore require a special BlackBerry Enterprise Server in order to
perform
        network connections. "
