You can not "save" an outque....

You can however, "save" the contents of the outque, if that's
really what you want to do.... This does some limitations but
the basic premise revolves around doing a copy of each file
to a basic flat file. If the spool file has any "special"
controls using AFP or the like, you can not use the "copy"
method.

Look at the cpysplf command....

If you "happen" to have the older "TAATOOL" from V4R5
there is a handy little program that will allow the copying
MUCH easier. cpyfrmoutq  & cpytooutq

There is a number of third party packages to work with
outques....

It just depends on your needs...
