Now I see it. Thank you. We, too, are an infoprint server shop.

Normally I would drag and drop it to a folder on my PC. That way I could
zip it up before sending. A VAST majority of the time I send out a spool
file it is to IBM to assist in problem resolution. 3,000 page joblogs,
communications traces, etc are better zipped up.

RE: Send email in iSeries Navigator

The ability to email is tied in to InfoPrint Server. In OpsNav (I have
V5R3
beta), if you go to Printed Output under Basic Operations, then
right-click
on a spooled file, there is an option at the top to convert to a PDF.
Another window will open. There are 3 options there for sending as email,
saving in the IFS, and saving to an output queue. You need to have created

DEVDs using *PSFCFG objects or something. Very cool. But, IIRC, the
options
are grayed out if there is not a matching device configured. It's been
awhile, don't remember how to create the stuff, but there are manuals for
it. Very cool.
