Several years ago, in one of the IBM offices in NYC,
I "saw" a terminal that was running OS/400,OS/2,AIX,
and MVS all at the same time.

The "rights" issue is much larger than the tech issue...

Virtual machines have been in IBM for a VERY long time.

I contend that there are many other reasons, other than
technical, that prevent it from happening...

For those of you that don't think it could happen need
to remember who gets more patents in one year than most
companies get in a life time. There are many days when
I despise everything IBM does... Being stupid is not one
of those traits.
