The reason I asked about the tape color is because I believe the purple
tapes go into a 3582, not a 3581. You had me confused with 3581 LTO-2.

We have a little utility that counts up our ifs sizes, ignoring all
symbolic links and anything in QSYS.LIB or QDLS. That reports our current
IFS size at 45,952 objects. And the results of this weeks
RTVDSKINF/PRTDSKINF are as follows:
Total disk space on system in 1,000,000
  bytes . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . : 3254746

I know nothing about UDFS.

By the way that 'User libraries' includes library PCBACKUP. That is used
by Tivoli Storage Manager to back up all of our PC's.
                             % of Size in
Library Owner Disk 1000 bytes

QMPGDATA SYSGENPGMR 1.85 60088000.5
YEAREND SSA 1.10 35771076.6

ROUTINES ROB .35 11338642.4
CLIDIVF SSA36 .35 11264008.2

QMPGDATA is IBM's performance monitoring.
MGR1499099 is payroll, personnel.
CLIDIVF is our first live ERP file library. (Of which we have several.)
So, if you discount the library PCBACKUP, you can tell we take our IFS
usage pretty seriously here.
The biggest object, by far, in ROUTINES is the file that keeps track of
our IFS usage. If we removed that, and the file that has DSPOBJD to an
outfile, then ROUTINES would drop way down the list.
