well, when IBM condemned the end user to having to deal soley with the
channel, they alienated ALOT of people...and IBM's not been always the
best at keeping thier BP's well policed...

Refer to my comments on BP's back in a former "state of the midrange"
column...which I don't think we have online at WAM anymore.  Had ALOT of
"you got that right!" comments from it when I wrote it back years ago...
