Check out ASNA (www.asna.com). I use it. Works great. VB and RPG folks will both find it somewhat familiar. Great for IIS middle tier, as well as two tier apps. You can seamlessly call host applications much faster than ODBC, natively access SQL Server too if you want, and still use ODBC when you're forced to. Great vendor too. BTW, I don't work for them.
