Traditional rule of thumb is that journaling adds a 5% load onto your
system.  For an HA solution today, you would want to use remote journaling
which is likely to be a little more.  IBM tells me that with the new high
speed IOPs, you do not need a separate ASP for journaling for "most
customers"

Any ideas what the overhead would be running one of the major HA solutions?

We have a 740 with aprox 350 gb used.

Ball park for journaling etc.
