I don't believe there is a physical size difference
between a 6606 & 6607. I can't find anything that
supports that statement but I really think a 6607 is
a compressed 6606.


But to answer your question, yes, the machine will recognize the drive.


I seem to recall a PTF to support the larger drives ????
