Eric,

The quick answer is BOTH.

We have an application we're installing that takes credit card payments
for customer's utility bills via the Internet. This application also
allows the customer to email us and we back to them. I'm trying to
find out what I need to set up the native iSeries version of email that
will support this application.

Thanks for the link.

Hi Dave,

Can you elaborate a bit? Are you looking to send mail, or receive it?

Anyway, here's a link to IBM's Knowledge base for email.
http://www-912.ibm.com/s_dir/slkbase.NSF/was4?OpenView&view=was4

There's a lot to cover there, but if you're just trying to send email,
look
for SMTP in the knowledge base. Its toward the end of the email docs
listed
in the link above.
