That is how I saw it as well. I can see reasons of why you might want to
avoid that, but like it was stated, if there is no "custom" reason for this,
you should buy the licenses.

Y'all know Rob and I don't see eye-to-eye on much, but I got the same hit
off that message as he did.  It sounded like Ron was trying to bypass his
vendor's licensing.  I don't understand the whole situation, so I didn't
chime in, but I can understand why Rob said what he did.  It was more
pro-vendor than anti-open-source.
