This is on any screen, including Work with Members Using PDM. I have a break
handling program that catches any break messages that are sent to my
workstation's queue or my user profile's. It sends them out to me as status
messages that appear at the bottom of the screen. Each time I get a message
(like a compile job's completion message), my cursor is moved back to it's
location when I hit the enter key.

I just tried it on tn5250 and you're correct, that works perfectly fine :).
If it can do everything I need am emulator to do, I'll look into moving in
that direction.
