High CPU% on 170 -- MIDRANGE-L

Hi,

I seem to remember somebody telling about a hardware problem (battery?) causing 
high cpu 
usage?

On an AS400 news group, somebody reports a constant 20% cpu usage on an 
170/2183 even
when the system is idle. The system has 256MB and is running V4R2.
wrkactjob shows no activity - wrksysact is not available.

Any ideas?
