1) Check authority on the remote system to file QGPL/OEP010.
2) Check to see that this ftp operation does not conflict with any record
locks that may be held on the file.
3) WRKSBSJOB QSYSWRK and look for jobs beginning with QTFTP and look at
their joblog
4) Or, SHUDDER, there's always this:
http://www-912.ibm.com/s_dir/slkbase.NSF/0/0a05188240a655f586256cd900768883?OpenDocument&ExpandSection=1
and I found that by advanced googling for the exact phrase 'unable to send
data to server' and did not limit myself to just IBM.

Subject
FTP Data files between V4R5 and V5R1

When we try to ftp a data file from one box to another box we are getting
this error message.

150 Sending file to member OEP010 in file OEP010 in library QGPL.
Unable to send data to server.
426-Cannot write to member OEP010 in file OEP010 in library QGPL.
  426 Data transfer ended.
226 ABOR subcommand received; no transfer in progress.

Can any one explain? The boxes are at different OS levels, one is at
V4R5 and the other is at V5R1.

Thanks
