RE: break messages locking session up

I've had this forever, especially when a status message shows up at the
bottom of the screen.

I'm on V5R1.

Since upgrading to V5R1 we have had a problem with sessions being locked

if
you are typing within a session at the same time that the system sends
you 
a
break message.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Is there an easy
solution?
