Actually... IIRC one of the later versions of Tomcat comes with the startup
and shutdown scripts included.

Adam,

I believe OS400 comes with Tomcat 3.2.4, and you can install later versions
of tomcat yourself. You do have to modify a couple of the tomcat script
files, but its fairly straightforward
