Well that helps some.

The CEE APIs are intended to be intersystem-compatible, which is to say that
they should work on the mainframe as well as on OS400.  The various Qxxxxxx
APIs are specific to OS400, and aren't portable across systems.  There is
some overlap between a few of the CEE APIs and some of the C and Qxxx APIs,
but not too much.  The CEE APIs return error information through a feedback
code called a condition token.  The Qxxx APIs tend to use an error code
structure and the C APIs use a mix of an integer return code and errno.
