Bindable APIs are in ILE *SRVPGMs, non-bindable are *PGMs. The differences are discussed in the ILE Concepts manual, et al.

Some APIs have both versions, tho' I can't seem to find an example right now.

The benefit of bindable APIs is, AFAIK, that, once bound, they are faster to call, than non-bindable ones. But this benefit only obtains when he API is called lots of times.

What are all the difference between Bindable APIs & Non-Bindable APIs ?

I know, One is bindable to the PGM Object and the other is Non-bindable to
*PGM's.

Any other inputs? Just curious.

Thanks,
