The problem with changing the default for SIGNOFF to ENDCNN(*YES) is it's 
annoying for PC5250 session users, as a signoff would then disconnect the 
session instead of taking them back to the iSeries signon screen.

Going a step farther, the SIGNOFF ENDCNN() command default can be changed 
to *YES which then ends connections automatically unless you specifically 
request otherwise. In general, every telnet connection ends at the time of 
signoff that way.
