Under V5R1 you have a new data queue type. It will automatically shrink back to your created size. No more performance issues. Yes the old data queues needed lots of memory if they had a lot of entries at one time, they are a memory resident object which is what gives them the advantage over a file. -----Original Message----- From: Don Just had a conversation with some folks I'll be meeting with next week that had tried to use data queues for transactions.
