According to COMMON's president, there will be a bunch of V5R3 training
sessions at the spring conference.

        Subject: Some stuff new in v5r3

I was poking around at the RedBooks site looking for some info on the 2004
ITSO conferences. They have published the class outlines for the Spain
conference.
I know it's not April yet (for those of us who have to worry about time
changes), but I saw this blurb about some new time stuff coming.

I know it's been hinted before about time zone and daylight time support,
but I though I would share some more detail.

<snip>
Come find out about the newest time related features and
improvements in OS/400. Learn about system time zone support,
daylight saving time observation, system client and server clock
synchronization, how to speed up or slow down time rather than
replacing it, how system time is now maintained using UTC, and much,
much more
</snip>

I like the idea of slowing/speeding up time. I feel like I have those
days
now<g>.
