Hi Paul,

I have actually set this parameter to *AFPDS, but it doesn't work. As far as
the overlay is concerned, I have tried to specify on the CRTPRTF command as
well as within the DDS, but without any results (in both cases, the only
thing I get on the report is the data).


Can you think of anything else that could cause this? I'm really puzzled...

Hi Fabrice,

The printer data stream to be created when your application is passed
through an OS/400 printer file is stored in the printer file parameter named
"Printer device type". If you set this parameter to *AFPDS, your overlay
should appear in the resulting spool file.
