Mike,

Have you tried running STRDBG, before running your embedded SQL program. SQL
will then write lots of diagnostic messages to the joblog if you do this.

Cheers

Hi Mike,

I had that problem once and it was an error returned (sqlcod) that
was ignored by the interactive sql but caught by my program. did you check
the sqlcod after running your embedded statement? what did it show?

I have a SQL statement that i developed using interactive SQL. I get the
results that i'm looking for. I then took this SQL and embedded it into an
RPG application. I no longer get the results that I am expecting.
