These machines are actually in a different domain. They are located in
South Carolina. (we are in Central Pa). We are connected by a T1 on a Frame
Relay.

The main question is, Are these server in a different subnet also in a
different domain?  If not, are they registered in your WINS server and you
have properly configured NetServer with your WINS server?  I can see all
systems in all of our subnets that belong to our domain.  Those in another
domain do not browse but can be found if you know the name.

I realize that QNTC works as I use it regularly.  The poster was having
problems using QNTC with systems in a different subnet -- a common problem.
Since the usual stuff was not working it begs the question as to whether
the simpler scenario of systems on the same subnet was working.  If they
were not either that might point to a larger problem such as missing PTF's
or other missing configuration.
