Well, the reason _I_ would try to keep this as an SQL solution is so I
wouldn't have to write & compile a new program for every file and every
duplicate field combo that I have had to look for.  With SQL, if we got
the gist of it to work, it would be extremely simple to check for
duplicates by other fields and/or in other files.

Someone asked about seeing what MS Access creates for SQL when doing the
search for duplicates in it.  Did anyone ever check that one out?  (Don't
have Access here, so I can't try it out.  Does Access97 generate SQL?)
