Initially I would think that a test of someone with the two certifications
displayed by you would be a waste of time and money. Then, if one
wondered "what education would this person need in the future to meet or
exceed current personnel, and/or meet development skills required by our
business" then the tests might be more varied and include things over and
above raw RPG like:
- SQL
- WDSC 5.1
- API's
- sockets
- java interfacing
and anything else germane to your organization. Failure would not
constitute an inability to learn, just where they need to send you to
training.

Re: Midrange Knowledge test

It's called "ProveIT". I took a test recently and passed with flying
colors. Unfortunately I am still waiting to hear from back from the
dedicated headhunter who set up the test for me ;-) Amazing how many
people these days call you about a job but never follow-up???

'ProveIT', they have tests in several AS/400 subject areas. They do the
grading as well. I have taken them either on line at home, or at a
recruiters office.
