Did anyone else see this little tidbit?

IBM plans to remove the support of the Windows 98 and Windows Me operating
systems from the iSeries Access for Windows client. iSeries Access for
Windows on Windows 98 and Me will continue to be supported in V5R2, but not
in subsequent releases. In subsequent releases, iSeries Access for Windows
will not install on Windows 95, 98, or Me operating systems. "

Am I alone in thinking ending support for W98 is a bit premature?
