Re: 1 remote outq...for users across the usa?

You're still gonna have a mixed bag, internet connectivity-wise. Some 
dial-up, some cable, some DSL. If any of the reports are 198 columns wide, 
and they don't all have the same model printer and the same Client Access 
code, they're gonna gripe about the printed output being too small to 
read. Unfortunately, you're not gonna be the one they'll gripe to.

I'd force the email issue, if for nothing else, simplicity. Take it from 
experience, sales reps seem to be the toughest ones to support.

the users will not be part of any wide area networking scheme...just sales 

reps in their homes across the country. Their printers will be connected 
as 
any home user would set them up to his or her pc.

they will be requesting these reports to print randomly at their leisure. 
we 
do not want to run them ourselves and then e-mail the output...although 
that 
is certainly a great answer for mass producing hardcopy each week to the 
same group.

the points about phone calls concerning printer-relative messages is a 
good 
one, too. That seems inevitable with this type of virtual printer set-up.
