sfl = subfile?

I had to deal with the issue of a split screen with two subfiles in one of
the management utilities for our ThinView product. Without revealing any
trade secrets, or turning on the box with the source, I can say that I
handled all rolling in the application code. I made it sensitive to the
cursor position, so it knew which subfile to roll. In such a situation,
the application would know the position of each subfile at all times.
Given that, it would presumably be child's play to keep track of the
"position at time of last modification" for each subfile.
