If you specified APPEND *NO this shouldn't have happen... BRMS should have
issued a message indicating that the manually loaded tape could not be used
at this time. 

FYI, there is another way to force a load of a new tape. use the *LOAD
special value in your control group:

Example:

Library1
Library2
*LOAD
Library3

Library 1 and 2 would be saved to the same tape. Then a new tape would be
loaded and Library3 would be saved to that one.

That was not the problem. The problem was that the tape from backup #1 was
manually reloaded erroneously and then the second backup wrote to it again.

There is a KNOWN bug that is affecting the *UNLOAD of tapes in BRMS
procedures... 

Apply PTF SI0362  (V5R2) ....

This fixed the problem for us.
