× The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.

I can't remember where.. maybe media policies... You tell BRMS what the retention period is. BRMS won't right to an un-expired tape without some override or other config change from default.

There is a KNOWN bug that is affecting the *UNLOAD of tapes in BRMS procedures...

Apply PTF SI0362 (V5R2) ....

This fixed the problem for us.
