I am not sure if this will help of not, but on our web site, in the download
page, there is a sample of code that was written by list member Art
Tostaine, Jr. The code monitors the QTCP message queue and waits for a
message that the connection was started and what IP address has been
received.  Perhaps this might be a starting point for you.

I start a tcp ptp session using the command STRTCPPTP <name> This does not
return info if the session start is successful or not because it then
submits other jobs. Does anyone know of an API or other method to start a
PTP session and determine programmatically that the session start has been
successful ?
