I don't think there is a PTF, just

CRTDTAARA DTAARA(QUSRSYS/QDMDSPOFIO) TYPE(*LGL) TEXT('DSP/WRKJOB OPTION(*OPNF) I/O Details first') AUT(*USE)

and see what happens. Delete it to disable for all, or remove authority to disable per user.

I'm not sure how I figured it just works in V5R2.

Grrrr. This shouldn't be hard to find, if it exists.

Trying to find the PTF for V5R2 that defaults WRKJOB/DSPJOB OPTION(*OPNF)
to show I/O Details without having to first press F11.

Found archives relevent to previous releases. Found APARs and PTFs
relevent for previous releases. Search using several different arguments
on IBM's APAR & PTF pages return no results for V5R2. (I searched using
the abstract for the V5R1 PTF SI02773 "INCORROUT DISPLAY OPEN FILES MUST
USE F10 TO SEE I/O", and still nothing for V5R2.)

According to the archives (thread beginning at
http://archive.midrange.com/midrange-l/200111/msg02772.html ), Neil Palmer
"coaxed" IBM into providing PTF support again after initially deciding not
to for V5R1. Are we dealing with this problem again with V5R2?

If someone does have a reference to point me to, could I also ask *HOW*
you found it? <rant> Since I am obviously too imcompetent to find this
stuff on my own on IBM's site.</rant>

TIA, GA
