That does not sound right. You'd need to compile the programs on the V4R5 box to TGTRLS(V3R2M0) in order to use them, but then you can restore them to V3R7 with no problem, I think - conversion will happen. You can have it convert to RISC on restore or on first use, I believe.

I would blow off a couple of your steps.  Once you get the stuff on a v4r5
system why not just re-save to V3R2.  IIRC v4r5 was the last version to
support saveing/compiling to v3r2.
