Andy, it looks like the file mentioned here is a physical file, not an IFS file. It still seems that a PDF file would need to be in the QDLS file system in order to be attached. Too bad. Then long file names are not possible. Looks like the API is the thing.

If you are sending a file, there is no need to use the cpytopcd command
first.
