Thanks Rich,
I at least got rid of all the extra garbage that was printing,
it just does not recognize ZPL code now - am downloading the firmware
upgrade.

I just had too many parms in my crtoutq with attempting to tell it
what type of printer and too many other parms.

Mark

Eh? Do zebras emulate PCL? Perhaps they are supposed to be 'text only'?

The WSCST QSYS/QWPDEFAULT translates from EBCDIC to ASCII, but doesn't seem
to add any control sequences or anything:

CRTOUTQ OUTQ(MYLIB/FOO)
         RMTSYS(*INTNETADR)
         RMTPRTQ(ANY)
         CNNTYPE(*IP)
         DESTTYPE(*OTHER)
         MFRTYPMDL(*WSCST)
         WSCST(QSYS/QWPDEFAULT)
         INTNETADR('ip.address.of.printer')

You might give it a shot...

Regards,
Rich
