The standard workstation here in the lab is Windows. I'm on NT, but 2000 and XP are also common here. There are also test machines with 98 and ME and probably a few other varieties.


On the other hand, my off-work time is very valuable to me. Although my employer can afford to pay me even when I'm checking for viruses or struggling to load the latest security patches, I'd rather spend my spare time in more productive pursuits. Thus, Linux is installed on my home machines.

Others on the list are more qualified than me to discuss networking Linux workstations with OS/400 hosts.
