Netmanage marketed Chameleon until they bought out ViewNow and made everyone
"upgrade" to ViewNow. Then they bought out Rumba and made everyone
"upgrade" to Rumba.

In the end there can be only one.

Oh jeez, were they the ones that Rumba bought out? You know, the "fix" is
to upgrade to Rumba? <grumble>

Well, to answer your original question, I'm not aware of any changes
between v5r1 & v5r2 that would break file transfer.

After reading through this again, it is really starting to ring a bell. I
used ViewNow at a client site last year and, IMNSHO, it was a sorry excuse
for a 5250 emulator.

I haven't seen him on the list lately, but if you're thinking that you may
need to change client emulators, you may want to get a hold of Jerry
Draper. In fact, he may even have information related to your problem
with ViewNow. Here's his tagline from a post sent in February:

Jerome Draper, Trilobyte Software Systems, since 1976
Network and Connectivity Specialist -- Mac's, LAN's, PC's, and iSeries
