I think the facilities were nice and the conference itself went well. However the room and charges, and how the hotel handled its clientele were deplorable as many have mentioned. That being said- it still was NO MATCH for the Gaylord in NASHVILLE. On that comparison they look like different companies.

Larry,

Most everybody had problems. Pete Massiello is of the opinion that the
system was just overloaded, and that the system was never built for
everybody to be on-line simultaneously. On the other hand when COMMON was
in New Orleans, everybody was on-line simultaneously, and it worked well.

I'm just taken aback by the "rip you off" attitude of that hotel.

I'm really sorry that all you guys had problems with your high speed access. My experience was exactly the opposite. I walked into my room on Saturday, connected my Wireless base unit to the wall, opened my laptop and was off and running all week without a hitch. The interesting thing I think is they had a number of people at the conference that likely could have solved their problem had they only thought to ask.... Had I know there was that big a problem I would have offered to help just for the fun!
