Yes, this is the Java Virtual Machine.  If you plan to use WDSC
throughout the day, the best way to do so is to leave it running.  That
way, you only need to start the JVM once.  Also, WDSC likes lots of
memory, at least 512MB, and I usually recommend 1GB.
