Can you find that V5R2 is the last release of os that will run on a 150? I
looked at
http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/iseries/support/planning/nav.html

And didn't see that.

Cyndi,

I recently tried to upgrade my 150 to V5R1. What I was told was that you
couldn't get V5R1 anymore and that my only option was V5R2. The special
version of the OS for the 150 is no longer offered and I would have to
license a new version of the OS - that is very expensive ~2000. I was
also
told that V5R2 is the last release of OS400 that will run on the 150. It
may be more cost effective to upgrade to a newer box and get the OS with
it.

Good luck,
Kurt

A co-worker is searching for a copy of V5R1 for the model
150. If
you have a
copy or know where to find one, please email.

                 Thanks,
