GA,  I feel your pain.

If ever I find something I want, I either bookmark it, or download it.

but I NEVER use the infocenter search feature.  Like you, I find it worse
than not-useful.

google has an option to search a particular website only for info, and 
find
that it gives me better results than infocenter search.

i've installed the google toolbar on IE and it has a special button for
doing just that.

What category should I file this under?  "InfoCenter Rant" or "Please,
PLEASE, someone show me how to find the information I'm looking for"?
