Just thought I'd forward this note on so that you can keep this in mind
when your order ptf media from IBM.

The stuff that came via Airborne came in quite quickly. However IBM must
be trying to push some business to UPS and that's a disaster.

On Monday I went to the following website:
http://service.software.ibm.com/as400.us.reg/orderptfmedia?lang=english|1
and ordered some ptf packages. I made the mistake of being generous to
IBM and selected "Priority 2 delivery (3 business days)".
And on Monday at 3:58 pm I received this email:
SDF Order# B5227091 was Received at 14:58:39 08/18/2003

And on Tuesday at 1:52 am I received this email:
TEXT    = SDF Order# B5227091 was Packaged at 00:52:48 08/19/2003
TEXT    = UPS Tracking: 1ZV880W54252270917

And not until Thursday did I received an email, timestamped by IBM as
being sent on Tuesday at 12:50am
TEXT    = SDF Order# B5227091 was Shipped at 17:30:00 08/19/2003
TEXT = Carrier: UPS Waybill: V880W5JJHGZ
TEXT    = UPS Tracking: 1ZV880W54252270917

Now, when I go to
http://www.ups.com
and track the order, it's not going to be delivered until Monday the 25. I
WANT IT NO LATER THAN FRIDAY AT 3PM!!!!!

Either IBM is lying through their teeth as to when it was shipped. Which
I strongly suspect since I didn't receive that email until two days later,
or UPS has some issues. WHICH IS IT?
